Well I'll be rendering away an image and suddenly the poly lasso tool will change the way it renders. Look at the pic for an example but it seems to add in faded parts around where im rendering looksie. How do I fix this?

This may make it seem more apparent?

yes. the problem is feathering. in the toolbar at the top when u have your poly lassoo selected, u will see a box that says "feather". change this figure to "0" and it will be fine.

dude im certain that is feathering. he said the problem just appeared whilst he was rendering which is as easy as accidently clicking in the feather box and moving the scroll wheel up.

its not liekly that whilst your rendering, you can click the feather box and type in a number, or move the scroll wheel. but i suppose it could happen :S

Basically this is what I did.

I like to render sometimes outside of the frame with the lasso tool so I will click on the toolbars at the top to get the whole render selected and i must have simply clipped the feathering box and used the scroll wheel to change it to 36. Its fixed now and thats whats important. They probably do close posts but this is a very big forum and it takes a while to find posts which have been resolved.
