Well I'll be rendering away an image and suddenly the poly lasso tool will change the way it renders. Look at the pic for an example but it seems to add in faded parts around where im rendering looksie. How do I fix this? This may make it seem more apparent?
yes. the problem is feathering. in the toolbar at the top when u have your poly lassoo selected, u will see a box that says "feather". change this figure to "0" and it will be fine.
tfeatherings not the problem. if it was the whole image wold be feathered. Ill have a look aorund for you, ill tell you if i find anything.
mmm strange i really cant think of anything that could be going wrong unles you were clicking something by accident without realising. If you find your answer be sure too let everyone know
dude im certain that is feathering. he said the problem just appeared whilst he was rendering which is as easy as accidently clicking in the feather box and moving the scroll wheel up.
its not liekly that whilst your rendering, you can click the feather box and type in a number, or move the scroll wheel. but i suppose it could happen :S
yeh i agree, it's pretty unlikely, but u also gotta agree that thats feathering. strage things happen sometimes
I will try this feathering feature and see if it's thats the problem well rep back when done. It was the Feathering was set to 6px instead of 0 Thx m8 you really helped me out Bahh
hello!!! read the post above! he already fixed it!!! but for the topic- that seems kinda weird why it would feather only a small section!
maybe he, yeah it is kinda weird y would it just do that one part and be perfectlly straight in the other parts of the render, thats weird B-\
Basically this is what I did. I like to render sometimes outside of the frame with the lasso tool so I will click on the toolbars at the top to get the whole render selected and i must have simply clipped the feathering box and used the scroll wheel to change it to 36. Its fixed now and thats whats important. They probably do close posts but this is a very big forum and it takes a while to find posts which have been resolved.
