I'm on a tight budget atm and i have a 03' dell and I plan on getting into comp gaming more so i need a new video card, sound, and a harddrive. Can anyone recommend me some types of those that are good but not to expensive?

HDD go with ~160bg imo with an 8mb+ cache, this really cuts down on your scanning time

Vid. Card, prob anything from nvidia imo, theyre stuffs great and has awesome support, something like a 6600 gt might be what you want, or a 9800pro

Sound card dosent really matter unless youve got some quality speakers/headphones to use em with.

the video card is wat will most likely blow ur budget ive seen 160 gig hard drives for 40 bucks or so wait till sunday and look in the paper for deals from best buy and such they always have great deals on sunday and then buy ur parts then. also nividia is great look for a video card with at least 128 mb ram this is good enough to play bf2. 256 mb would be better, although no games use that much yet u'll be set for the future games as they come out and depend better cards.
