I am looking for a FREE domain name. like .TK, one where i can just put in the original link, and it will put it as "yourlink".whatever. i have made the site, i just wanna make it a cool link. i tried .tk but it doesnt work. i dont want something like .co.nr just yoursite."oneword" please help.

Try www.sg5.co.uk Youll end up with something like 'www.yoursite.sg5.co.uk'. There are other choices btw... And its completely free, all you do is sign up, and you get put in a directory where people can find your site aswell.

you don't have $7 to pay yearly? man... your gonna have problems then. some free ones put banners, popups, and stuff on your site.. just get a toplevel domain, doesnt cost that much... only $7-10 a year...
Get one for 5 dollars at Yahoo. Even though I wouldn't trust Yahoo myself, your parents would probably trust Yahoo more than like another less popular registrar.

what do you mean .tk doesnt work - any explanation on why it doesn't work. I've registered nearly 20 .tk names and all have been fine for me. Let me know if I can help with this in anyway.
If he's using FireFox then that's the reason, .tk sites, generally, don't work with FireFox, for the majority of people, I've talked to a few people that can go to them, but not many...
