Become a loan shark, get the henchmen, the whole bit. Jk, take a year off and go around the world with your gf/wife or err bf if your, uhh you never know these days. Anyways, go see the world, there is a lot to see. Pull an Angelina Jolie and give to third world countries. Need more ideas?
Why so eager to invest in an online graphics community? anyways, i say, give some to gr.. and demand that they finish updating the damn board
At least not GR because of these ads, I am sure Llama is making a fair amout with it, enough to cover expenses I am sure. Maybe you can help with getting other forums off the drawing board and on the internet. Buy the domain name, hosting, ya know whatever. Ooo, buy a server and start a webhosting business and help people get off the ground with forums.
GR is an awesome place, but really, that money should be going towards a down payment on a house, because that 50k wont last for ever and inflation will hit it even if you do keep it. EDIT: paying for a months hosting for GR would be good though
i am investing a ton i dont wanna start my own site and i dont wanna get a housem my apartment = loft = leet
50k is nothing, actually, so I'd highly suggest saving that money, or investing it, or whatever else. The big point is this: DON'T go around donating to meaningless internet websites just because you think you have a lot of money, because fact of the matter is, you don't. Assuming you plan on going to college, use the money for that. I go to a fairly cheap state university and my tuition is around $7000 a year, excluding room & board. Room & board included, it costs about $13k a year to attend my university. 4 years of that, and bam, your 50k is down the drain. Don't think you have a ton of money simply because you're 19 and so far you haven't really had a lot of expenses. I don't know what other family you have around you, but your parents are dead now and they won't be supporting you anymore as I suspect they've done so in the past. Plan for the long run. Maybe eventually you'll get a wife and kids, and you'd be much better off having that money somewhere as security in case any emergency arises. Or hell, it could even support your children's college education...
