im getting either xbox360 or ps3, but the thing is i dont have a good t.v to play in, i have a big t.v but it sucks, the reflection gets in the way, and colour quality is bad enough. I can't buy my own t.v in my room because i have no room what so ever to put it in. The quesiton is, can i be able to plug in xbox360 or ps3 for example into my computer monitor? so i can play it? thanks!
Ooo, I don't know if the plug in for the monitor would fit, unless there was a converter, or like a T.V. tuner thing. I don't really know, but you ask a good question.
Well, for the PS3, I heard rumors that you need a HDTV to play it, but that's just a rumor.. I don't know I an adapter exists, but you can do this: Replace your monitor with a nice LCD TV, and if your video card has TV out, you can use the TV for your gaming and your PC. That's my thought, unless there's an easier way... (for a time, I actually hooked up my N64 to my Color Apple CII Monitor, which had A/V ports, worked for awhile, until the picture faded away...)
The only next-gen console i've read that can do that is the Rev. Maybe a third party company or the actual company will make it when they come out.
i can't return my lcd moitor, lol....my parents will never let me, arghhh, i wish i had bought the tv lcd!!!, anything, tv tuner? video capture!? ANYTHIGN!/
tv tuner... you can capture signal form a TV. How the hell do you think media center PCs work? I'm no where near sure how one would be configured though.
I'm pretty sure you can do this, i think my current monitor can do it with xbo'x atm. Not completly certain but i think the ps3 and xbox360 will support it dja
You might be able to. 'Cos i can remember AGES ago when i was just messing about and connected a Dreamcast up to a comp monitor. But this was years ago.
