After seeing the post on spoon bending i wanted to create this topic. Now only for peoples thoughts on such things but for also certain things as ghost or spirits.....as well as other lifeforms elsewhere. WHat are peoples thoughts on it, if they believe it, and any proof or debates they can begin.

I do believe in ghosts. My mother has told me stories from her childhood. She used to have a ghost in her house.

She would make sure everything was turned off before going to school and would come home and everything would be on.

The TV, radio, refriderator open, just anything.

My grandma (extremely Christian woman, would never lie) has told me stories as well.

The day after her first husband died, she heard footsteps upstairs in her house. She walked upstairs and went to her room. She opened the door and saw her husbands clothes up in the air as if a person was standing in them yet no one was there. The second she turned on the lights in her room, the clothes dropped.

And no I am not making any of this up.

Shoot, you guys got me started now:

I used to practice Telekenesis (just spinning a piece of foil on a needle), but I eventually just stopped, because after I moved, I had nobody to chill with and talk about telekenesis. ppsociety.com i think it might still be up, but they taught me alot. I couldn't get into the forums because I am too young, but I was also smarter than many of the people there, and had more potential. But, I digress, it was the Admin who was a jackass. The rest of the mods were on my side.

It's all very interesting. I don't think I've had any real ghost experiences, but i remember the piano playing when no one was downstairs, and also, my bed rocking at nighttime on it's own... that was creepy.

Telekenesis is something I would also like to know about more.

There is many debates but in the end.

Of course the spiritual world exists... I haven't really had any scary experience, but I have had experiences. I guess they would be scary if I hadn't believed in the spiritural world and known what caused them.

My family and I were visiting the Native American reservation in western South Dakota. If you know your history then you know that this reservation called pine ridge has had a lot of turmoil. If you recall wounded knee battles like this were fought there. So, this place is a haven for spiritual activity.

This reservation is very poor, it is the poorest area in the U.S. so it is like a third world country, like what you see on T.V. with shanty towns. There are non-working cars all over the place, houses are neglected, it's rather frightning.

We were there because my parent's were on a mission involving church activities. When we was staying at the reservation for a week when I was younger(about 10 yrs old) with my parents friends. Of course I made friends there and my friends and I were outside playing as the daylight turned to night, we kept playing. This is when I saw what you might call a spirit. It was like a ball of light, but it's light didn't create shadows. It was very fast, it was back and forth, left and right, almost like it was playing with us. Then we ran after it, but it dissapeared underneath a vacant trailor home.

I am now 17 and I had forgotten about it, when we went back to the reservation this summer we stayed at the same place. The Native American friend of my parents was talking with me about spirits and I mentioned that I saw one at there house seven years ago, and I described it and everything and like nothing she says, "Oh yeah, the kids see that kind of stuff all the time." I was taken a back, up until that point I thought I was seeing things but now I believe in the spirit world.

Her mother(the grandmother) was dying when we visited the reservation this last summer. The Grandmother was very sick and near death, I saw her condition, she was very sick, very spiritual. The Grandmother had been seeing a man come into the house and walk through and leave at the same time every night. Of course no one else could see it, where the Grandmother was in the life cycle was near the end. So, they consider her "very sacred", meaning she is in transistion between this life and the after life. The Grandmother would freakout when she saw this man, and it was causing trouble for the family who was taking care of her. So the family told my mom about it and my mom gave them holy salt(which is basically holy water) and told the family to sprinkle it in a perimeter around the house. After that the Grandmother stopped seeing the Man that walked through the house.

These are some of the direct/indirect experiences I have had with the "paranormal".

Your mind and body plays tricks on you. Just because you see something, dosn't mean it's actually there.

stories like this is what have drawed my intrest in such things, now i spend a good part of my life researching it and hopeing to make contact with such things.

We seem to be sticking on the ideas of spirit, but what about other lifeforms elsewhere in the universe, anyone have anything to say?
