    What is better?
    Photoshop 7 ot Cs 2?
i have found 7 to be more user friendly and flexible.Thjings are easy to edit and create and a great prog.
Then I got cs 2 and it was a disaster.I think it's much worse and I don't like it.
I use it only because of all the cool new brushes being made for cs2.

    what do you think?

umm, this has been posted over and over and over and over again...

PSP7 is for people that cannot afford CS2, people who's computer is crappy and has less than 256mb of RAM. Also for beginners in PSP.

CS2 is for the experienced that have used PSP7 and Cs to the max. Also needs a fast computer.

I would say 7, but if it was between cs and sc2, i would say cs. I think cs2 takes up too much space, and isnt that much of a difference from cs.

I use CS2 and I think it's easy as pie, i've only hd one problem with it and that is it doesn't like doing the animated flash across any text.

    CS2 > 7.0

This is because I upgraded from 7.0..So I got used to the program and now its easier to learn on CS2...CS2 has a better feel to it to me..

I have 480 mbs of ram and CS2 runs fine..when I had 7.0 and I only had 256 it worked for a few months but then I had to upgrade ram..

So for Pro's or high intermediate designers definetly go with CS2 if ur computer can handle it.

CS2 Loads faster than any other version, It uses indexes and seperates the modules from the CS2 core. CS and CS2 are the same visualy, but CS2 has many more features. 7 lacks the 3d capabilities of CS2 and loads slower.

The difference between 7 and CS 2 is just that 7 is the older version, CS 2 has a different interface and more filter options, but i use CS all ur brushes from 7 would be compatable with either CS or CS 2

Hmm..well I can run msn, AIM, and firefox at the same time. it only lags a little when I switch to CS2 but it doesnt give me a huge problem..a few extra seconds never hurt..

CS2 has newer stuff and that with 7 you just click for the linking of the layers. With CS2, you have to press ctrl and click. I hate that, for anything, I use 7. Web design... more CS2.

    7 > CS2 all in all.
