I am looking for a way to make a realistic muzzle flash in Photoshop and am willing to pay for it.

Here is the sig I am working on for a friend and I hate the muzzle flash.

This knowledge on creating muzzle flash could be very useful in other sigs.

    Here are the rules.
    1) Create and post your tutorial on creating realistic muzzle flash.
    2) On Nov. 23rd I will open a poll for the GR comunity to judge.
    4) The poll will run from the 23rd till the 26nd.
    3) The one that the GR comunity picks will win and the winner will get 100 credits from me...

    Sound fair?

Why move it around, that just looks fugly.
Hows about just fading them in and out in a rapid manner in a pattern: barrel01,barrel02 etc.

    ?

Anyways... That just doesn't look right.. you need to rotate the barrels.. it's that simple...

    Try this:
Have the muzzle flash go in every other frame or w/e
have a radial blur layer overtop of the barrels and rotate it

    Something like that

Lol! Gifted and I play in the same clan... :-) I go by [FnG] GWIA or [FnG] DiaperRash... :) I was in the top 50 of out 300 plus memeber clan. That was before I started painting my son's Warhammer 40K TAU... Played lastnight for the first time in a few weeks... Great fun....

Here is the updated one I came up with...

    Ah--

    *has seizure*

It's nicely done, just a bit too much action for my eyes.
