ok, part question, part discussion: Question: What do you pay for your internet, how fast, what type (DSL/Cable) and where do you live? Discussion: Ok, so prices are skyrocketing, around my town, DSL is around $25-$30 USD per month FOR THE FIRST 12 MONTHS, then It's around 35-40. Cable is $30-$35 per month FOR THE FIRST 6 MONTHS, then It's like 40-50... Why can't they lower the prices a teeny bit? They have advanced technology to do it.... And it does not cost them 20-50 to run... So why are we paying all this shyt? I'm using DSL with SBC Yahoo, I pay $29.95 a month until April 06, when it will go up to $35. I get speeds of about 315kb/s, about 30kb/s on downloads. I live In South-Eastern Wisconsin, USA.
Im not sure how much im paying, i dont even check the bills I get speeds only around 200 kb/s down and 50 kb/s up on dsl
i pay 50 dollars (CDN) for High Speed Cable and 60 Channels. Look for a package deal you'll save alot.
Verizon: Verizon Online DSL is currently not available on (xxx) xxx-xxxx. (I masked the phone number on here) I even tried to get the 19.95 SBC plan, but it says it is not avaible in my area, when I can get the 29.95 SBC Yahoo, and my phone carrier is SBC, figure that one out...
