Fireworks

    for some reason, in college for graphics we can only use Macromedia fireworks, how simmilar is it to good old photoshop and does it take ABR brusher, and is it better than PS in any way?

    1. It does the same thing (Edits still images).
    2. I don't think it accepts .abr files.
    3. In no way is it, or any other program, better than photoshop.

    If you can, suggest to them that they should get photoshop.

    ty, i could do that, or i'll ask them if i could just do my work at home on photoshop.

    Oi! Theres nothing wrong with Fireworks, although technically inferior to photoshop, it is a very solid app for either learning how to make graphics with or to use for simpler projects. I learned on it, and now im learning to use photoshop, so i tend to mix the two presently.
