Im new, go figure but, when I use some ones render do i give them cred in my actual sig? Or do i just say ________ thanks for the render?
You just say wow nice render i like it and i will use it. Now if they want creds then you give them creds. But shouldnt ever have to put in your sig Thanks for the render from Infinetezero or anything like that
yeah i rather comments on my renders more than creds.... its nice for poeple to say nice render Hardy^
yeh i agree, id rather get comments than creds, because on average u will only get 1 reply per 10 views which is pretty pathetic as it doesnt hurt to take 10 seconds and type a comment. too many people just open threads, save the render and piss off! I am gonna give up on rendering for others if its not gonna pay off, as in, im not gonna get much feedback. the feedback is what makes it worth it!

So if you were to do a render and someone puts , great render will use it , without crediting you ( creds / rep ) then did a sig and sold it for credits ,would you be happy with that ? Suppose it all depends whether or not in the title of the render or the post you first made are the words "Free to use" but what if theres Cred / Rep appreciated and everyone right clicks / saves render then does the same scenario as above , selling sigs with your render , would you be happy with that ? Just a question not having a go , bringing this into a discussion
yeh for me personally, i dont have a problem if others, for example, put my renders in sigs and sold them. i still prefer comments(and rep), cause when people tell me that i have done an awsome job (rendering) for example, it inspires me to render more. However, on the other hand, if people do not bother to post at all, it makes me feel that i have wasted 2 hours of my time. All my renders that i do are free. i dont advertise the fact that they are, but i know people are gonna take them if they want anyway so it is pointless. Yeh i appreciate rep and creds, but much prefer honest feedback. If, GSXR's example happened to come about, then i would like the person selling it to just leave a comment in the thread, and say something like "thanks - used your render in a sig". I would be stoked that my render is being used in a sig, more so then what it is being sold for. This would also bump the thread, saving myself from bumping, which i hate having to do. Hope this is clear an not ramble. Just my honest opinion. I believe people should post more, increasing the ratio from 10 views/ 1 reply which is roughly where it is sitting. And also why im at it, i must add, that i hate when people tell me "GJ wont use it" cause i dont care if u dont use it, however, if someone said "GJ def gonna use", i would be stoked. Ok im exhausted now, hope to hear more opinions on this topic!
