This is short so go ahead and read it. It's from CNet's Daily buzz section. The last sentence made me laugh because it's true that Microsoft only cares about profits. Source: CNet - [LINK]
While it's true that Windows is susceptible to many viruses, this is implicit of the fact that ~90% of all computer users use Windows, so said viruses will be made and will infect at a higher rate than anything targeted at Mac/Linux
^^^ That's true, but Window's has a lot of security holes that could easily be prevented and those similar issues aren't a problem in other operating systems. I am just addressing the facts, even though what CNet said cannot be proven as of yet, it's comical because it's true in previous version of Windows.
linux and mac might have just as many security holes but once again most users use windows so they might not have been found yet. this guy seems to be right -
Of course I'm right One of the security loops I am talking about is that programs won't install and execute without permission from the SU(Super User) and the use of a SU is in linux. This means that things like spyware won't be a problem and there is more benefits of this startegy that Unix based programs use. Mac is based on a Unix engine and so is Linux. Another thing is that every folder, program or whatever is a child of the parent folder(root) and thats just more semantic. Windows has a C: drive, D: drive or whatever, while Linux and Mac have the one root. I could probobly go on and on.
