I'm 24. And it's not because I'm 24 that I'm better at graphics then a 16 year old The internet is about being (a little bit) anonymous. And frankly those topic make that fail Meh let's get back to being unknown around here.
I know where you're coming from. I started coming here to share renders, but at the time there was only like 12 in the gallery. (Seriously.) You feel out of place when everyone is so young. What's funny to the younger ones isn't funny to you, and so on. But at the same time, you just enjoy having something in common with someone. Hell I play cs with a group of guys that range from late 40's to 9. But what keeps us coming back is the things you have in common with everyone here. Having a life has nothing to do with coming here. I used to come here all the time because I love doing graphics. Now I just get sick to my stomach listening to everyone bitch about someone just starting. I remember when GR was in it's beginning month. Everyone was new to it, or close to it. If you go back and look at the tutorials it will show what I mean.
My age sense is tingling, is there a bit of ageism going on? It doesnt matter if 15 year olds are running some forums, some are good at it, give the teens a chance, im 14 =D Some irc mods are 16 or similar.
that's basically what I think. Dude, there are plenty of 20+ year olds on the forum, they pretty much all replied to this topic. This is really kind of a pointless thread man, who cares how old everybody is on a forum.
Like most of the teens here have been doing to me? Hey, "thread starter", I'm 34, and am just as young as some of these youngsters here. Don't worry about how they treat you, if it is negatively. If you rise above it, you'll see that you're better off than they are. And welcome to GameRenders.Com. I'm a member of over 20 sites now, and I've met 9 year olds, and 55 year olds on all of the forums I mod, administrate, and just be a member of some of the sites I've joined....
I'm 21, and yeah, I was also surprised by the amount of young people here. Not that it's bad, but still, it's surprising.
