you could apply an inner shadow to get rid of the white outline.

    Another thing that could help:

If you're selecting a image to copy and paste into your Sig, but then realize it's too big. Just right click>Invert Selection then hit delete. That way the background will turn to black or white, so when you re-size the image you can just use the Magic Wand instead of re-doing the selection with the lasso tool.

    Hope this is helpfull!

I have photoshop cs and photoshop elements 2, I use elements to cut pictures out pictures because it has a selection tool brush which I find much easier to use compaired to lasso tool.

K a few things... I usually use the Lasso tool (not the polygonal/magnetic)...

    I read two things...
    -Filter
    -Pen Tool

Now what do you mean by "filter"... I know there's a option called filter or something on the menu (sry can't check 'cause I'm at school now). Also for the pen... I understand you boost the image to 500%... but the pen you're talking about is the little button that looks like a pen... how do you work with that 'cause it has a ton of vertical/horizontal lines come out of no where... unless I'm not quite picking the "right" pen option...

    BTW great topic guys!!!
