Makin A New Computer-are These Good Parts?

    Ok well im planning 2 buy a new computer this holiday season. hopefully ma dad lets me! Ma friend helped find parts which he said were really good if i want to play game well! Here are the parts! The total price is in canadian dollars since i live in canada! The total cost is around 1400 dollars maybe a bit less!

    These are the parts! Total cost is around $1400! I plan on using my current hard drive so i do not plan on buying another one! So please post telling me if this is all good!

    weird I have an A64 3000+ and it is 2ghz. maybe it is because it is a socket 754... either that or because my ram is at 200mhz

    If you could change your graphic card to the 7800gtx then it will be a dream machine :D Btw , you plan to run the 6800gt in sli mode ?

    Change ur processor to the AMD64 X2 (its the dual core version, alot better, abt £300 which is abt $400)

    well i plan on gettin one first and next year if the price goes down ill get anotha one and run it on sli mode! as for the person who said to get the dual core amd..I aint rich so ima stick with the 3000+ 1.8ghz one

    w00000tt that looks exactly the same mobo, memory and Graphics card - My processor gona be 3500 and 480watt PSU

    W00t same case as well-llol

    Its good :D Its like the same spec as mine

    I think mine was around £530

    The second guy who said he was going to get that motherboard as well you should think again aswell. I will post some reviews of it when I get home from school.

    well thx for the info and comments..i need an sli mobo so if u think there is a better one which is cheaper but like the asus deluxe on the canada computers site please post the link for it!
