Visualstyles

    Hey, I was wondering if someone could help me to install one of these themes [LINK] I think it has something to do with VisualStyles but the problem is I have never heard of VisualStyles, so can anyone help me with this problem I am having.

    You should install something like WindowsBlinds(google it). Then go here and download one of the skins. hope this helps :D

    yeh, windowsblinds is heaps better... i would go with that :)

    thx guys for not helping i figured it out by finding a site called neowin.com and it has the info on setting up visual styles. before i didnt know what vs was but now i do and it is much better than windowblinds imo because it is not a third party prog its a patch over the uxtheme.dll, so it doesnt use up ram, plus it has some amazing styles and i love it.

    personally i hate windows blinds...
    thats just me... i wouldof recommended style xp but it has alot of spyware now:(

    haha! thats funny!

    anywayz, thanks [MAUL] for mentioning neowin.net (it's .net not .com! :D ) I used to use Window Blinds, but i did the patch, and my computer is a lot faster now! Thanks a lot! +rep deserved!

    yah,

    i used to use style XP, but it used alot of resources, so i use window blinds, oh well....

    also litestep is sweet! dont use blackbox, it shuts down a reg key in their new version, they are fixing it...

    @MasterC - Your Welcome :) and thanks for pointing out its .com not .net.

    @fiendskull9 - litestep is a great prog that I also used, there are a bunch of good skins for it and it's definatly better than Window Blinds etc.

    I don't understand why people stick with Window Blinds (since it's a resource hog) and not go with the neowin patch or even litestep.
