Question About Putting In Brushes

    I have downloaded some brushes and i put them in my brushes folder and it does not show up in my PS CS so if there is something else that i have to do could you tell me how. some body told me that i have to load it to my brushes bank or something like that. I have windows XP so if you know how and can tell me I would appreciate it.

    Make sure you put it in the photoshop preset brushes folder.

    Start -> Run:

    C:\Program Files\Adobe\Photoshop 7.0\Presets\Brushes

    Copy and paste them into that. Then close your photoshop and relaunch it.

    i already have them in the folder it is i go through this way

    my computer/program files/adobe/photoshop CS/presets/brushes

    I put thenm there and it wont work but somebody said that i had to load them in to it but i dont know how.

    Ok, you ahve cs right? otherwise replace the CS with 7. Try putting them here:

    C:\Program Files\Adobe\Photoshop CS\Presets\Brushes\Adobe Photoshop Only

    They should be there....... Ummmmm maybe... Theres 2 Brushes folders?

    there is one that sy photoshop only i will try in there.

    I think he wants to know how to accses them.

    In the brushes window, theres an arrow pointing left. Click on that, and it will list some brushes for you to use. Click the brushes you put into the file and there you go.

    Did that help?

    there are no arrows pointing left all point right or down.

    When the brushes are there, on the top theres an arrow pointing RIGHT (sorry, i meant right= >). Click on that to get a list of brushes to use.

    yeh thats the only way i can think of finding them. Its either that or you havent loaded em properly

    well i tryed that an it only has the same one that were there. would it be called what it was says when you put it in the folder because one was called blizzard something is that what i should be looking for when i am looking for them.
