I think people buy I Pods not only for the music but also for bragging points. Not everyone has an I Pod and when your the only one in a crowd, you get noticed B)
i have an ipod and i have 15 gig of it used, its not only for mp3's i use it as a portable harddrive, you can put anything from movies, exes, word docs on them. its brillient its run by a harddrive, not by flash like other mp3 players. although this whores up the battery, it is able to store any kind of data and transfer it at firewire speeds (400/800)
lol..Little do you know my friend... anyways,Ipods are great But when you start havin 500+ songs in it,Organizing the Title,Band,Genre etc. is a B!tch
I hear ya that why I only have 700 songs in the dam thing, and most I dont even know the artist, but I still bought one because i wanted something small an portable and could hold alot of music without changing CD's.
iPods are for us uber-eliteists with Apple computer systems. lame windoze users are lucky to get to touch them. I have a 40 gig iPod lazer etched on the back, a g4 laptop and a g5 desktop. There for I am better than all. iPods are walking conversation starters, you always get "That is cute, what are you listening to". The girl likes the music... w00t. Or you show them your airport, or titanium g4. It's like pussy in the bank. Plus they dont' crash. and I still dont know what BSOD is .
I don't think I'll get an iPod in the forseeable future. I don't have that many songs on my computer.
I mean, to drop 21 songs on something and not worry about it. Make a playlist on the go, and it's backlit. mmm geek hardon.
