Hello So which one do u use and why? I use IPB for the simple reason that its free and looks better than phpbb else i would have gone for v bulletin if i had some extra money.
For me it's better phpbb ... it's not sure that ipb looks better cuz u can edit the graphics as u want .... i did it several times on a phpbb forum .... plus i tink that for phpbb there are more mods, modules, addons avaliable.
I'd have to agree. PHPBB, just because I've always been used to it and always liked the layout of it.
I also use IPB, 2.0.3. Which version are you running by chance? just wondering becasue you said its free. I know of some free versions,but wondering which one you have for free.
I like em' all. Though I only use IPB and phpBB. I very knew to IPB but I have been experimenting with phpBB for a while so I would probably have to go with phpBB, just because I have more knowledge of it. And I must phpBB 3.00 is looking awsome and its still free. Could give IPB a run for their money never know.
i use ipb. Its much more addons and mods and is easy to use with less security risks than the others.

Ceratin versions are free. V1.3.1 is the latest freeware version. All you need is hosting, and i can install for you. But for V2.0.x you need to buy a lisence.
Its only legal if you had it when it was downloadable from their website. You won't find very many places to download it from now.
