when i have done my background on ps and got my render the render still has a coloured background so how do i get rid of that so i have just the picture and not the background??

Make your post clearer so I know what you are asking, therefore so that I can help you.

 

Use the lasso tool and cut out what you want then copy and paste it into your sig..

 

select the bg parts with wand tool and hit delete

 

Just what I was about to say lol.

 

That doesn't always give the best cuts.

But if you are looking for something quick go for it.

I do that sometimes.

 

You can ask one of the professionals here at GR to kindly cut it for you
