ok i will be nice. Try this at home before you actually do it at school. I dont want you guys looking like idiots because you dont know what ur doing but heres a tut on how i do it at my school. I write this.

This document is for private & educational purposes only. I simply wrote this guide to INFORM!

    CHAPTER ONE - INTRODUCTION
If you are a high school or middle school student, you'll find that your school has blocked things from your access: websites they deem inappropriate, creating files on the computer, accessing certain files and the like. Do not fear - there are ways to get around it! In this guide I will explain to you many of the ways to do just that. But if you aren't careful, you'll get caught - so don't be stupid!

CHAPTER TWO - ACCESSING FORBIDDEN WEBSITES
EbaumsWorld.com. Playboy.com. They're probably blocked on your network, but MOST networks forgot an important thing: the IP Address of a domain. If they haven't blocked the IP Address of the domain, then you'll be able to access it to some degree. But without a command prompt at your disposal, you might be clueless as to how to find the IP. Never fear! Head to http://www.dnsstuff.com, type in the Ping form the address of said website. You will then get the IP address! Easy!

CHAPTER THREE - COMMAND PROMPT: GET ACCESS
The command prompt is blocked from use... under normal circumstances. But open up a Notepad file, and empty it. Type in:

    Quote:
    command.com

Save the file (Save As) as Filename.bat. The BAT (Windows BATCH) file is IMPORTANT, it makes Windows execute a command to open command prompt, skipping whether or not you have permission. Now you've got command prompt! DELETE THIS FILE WHEN YOU'RE DONE, OR YOU'LL GET CAUGHT.

Little Extra Goodies (Command Prompt Commands)

net localgroup - lists all localgroups
net user username /ADD (username is account name) - creates a new account
net user username /DEL (username is account name) - deletes specified account

Now if you have knowledge of the command prompt then you know how to access IE through it and then th website. If not do some research. Its not too hard

I remeber those days there is ways around it but it honestly takes to much time for the amount of time you can surf at school anyways.

I agree with the person suggesting that you do schoolwork while at school, you know. You might not notice a whole lot of long-term benefits from it, but I still don't see how it wouldn't help you with anything else. Moreover, i fail to see how a website such as gamerenders.com is beneficial towards anything. Just make a cost vs. benefit analysis. What's more important? Learn seemingly valuable tips about photoshop (i.e. something you most likely won't ever professionally get involved in), or actually learn something valuable that you might be able to use in the future? I'd go for the latter. Just like you are, there are thousands of other different people out there thinking they're good graphic designers and they're already eons ahead of you, aka competition is tough. Unless you're ----ing awesome at it, you might as well develop a backup plan just in case. It's not like paying attention at school hurts you in any way. More knowledge is never a bad thing.

If you want an example, I'd just tell you that I'm one. I love making computer graphics to death, but there are already thousands of people in the country doing the same thing, and they're waaay better than I am, and they'll still be so until I die. So...what's my approach? I'm getting a degree in electrical engineering, pretty much as a backup just in case my art skills don't get me anywhere. Don't undermine school just because it doesn't happen to fall in line with what you wanna do at school. Often times what you wanna do isn't what everyone else wants of you.

My school allows us to look up anything. I have come to this class one or twice during computer tech already. I don't even need that class.
