Um dude I was just stating that people have a price tag... in america at least... you can say whatever you want but it's true...
I never said anything about the price tag of people in New orleans.. I was speaking in general.
2 of my uncles died aswell as a few cousins. This was in Bosnia though and their family received a check (not sure of the amount). Also there if you have kids they send you money every month to support them. This is because my country isn't in dept. There are a lot of privilages to not being in dept and if we weren't this would have never happened.

EDIT: also as for the staying innew orleans for a wekk... I've been through worse. Ever actually been involved in a war? My country has been and my next door neighbor had a rocket right through their house killing a son.
We wouldn't have power for months due to snow and war. Praying that your food supply would last the winter and having to ration food. Don't tell me I haven't been through something when you don't know me kid. I couldn't walk down the street without hearing a bomb go off somewhere. My dads factory was bombed by the UN who was on OUR side. They thought it was a mistle factory! When the factory was producing weapons for US and the UN. My dad barely got out alive.

My theory on the no vote would be.. they know bush is gonna get this money together (taking us more into debt).. give the money to FEMA. Some of the money will go to the aid.. but alot of it won't. Bush will get paid once again.

Thats why 11 people voted no, not coz of the people in new orleans. but coz the money will go to FEMA.

Don't attack me, plz. thats just my guess on it..

Well... FEAM is under the control of BUSH, who is under control of some puppet master.

The guy can't even read a written speech right, he can't run a country by himself. Every president has help, but they do it graciously... this guy looks more like a damn stooge doing it.

I could understand voting no,i'd have done it myself.I probably would have voted yes on a proposal for 40 billion though.

when it comes down to it, we need to budget, MORE. ever since the cold war america has been endebting itself... we need to pay a bit of that off sometime. national debt is about 7 trillion ATM.

not really, FEMA acts on it's own, independently of the president.

they might have thought that that amount was too little, or after reading the fine print of the bill that they thought it could have been improved in certain ways or they could be heartless corupt assholes who want that money to start wars with other countrys.

In my opinion, I think that they shouldn't spend BILLIONS of America's money rebuilding that place. Why not just give the money to the people who NEED it and not the place where their living, that will take YEARS to fix, and such?
