Anyone actually read? Do we have to take tests on that crap in first day of highschool? I haven't read anything... Is there any good excuses i could use, if we do have to take the test?

I kind of did. We had to write a 2 page essay one one book of our choice when we got back. I chose "Ten Little Indians" by Agatha Christie. Very good book if you like suspense/mystery.

    I made a 100 one the essay :D

    I'm a freshman too. :P

I actually like Edgar Allen Poe stuff. I read alot of his. And then a few other just weird stories that are absolutly horrible. :)

    I love em.

Then there is alway one of the old sherlock homes storys. Man with the twisted lip is an alright one.

Has Edgar Allen Poe written any novels? I have only seen short stories and poems by him.

The House of Usher was my favorite.

But summer reading is usually based on a novel.

I like "Cask of Amontelado" and "Tell Tale Heart".

This are my favorite Edgar Allan Poe stories.

    Actually I change my mind!

The Black Cat was an awesome story! That has to be my favorite by Edgar A. Poe.

Yes it is but that's too well known... Almost everyone knows that.

Yes it's a great poem but it gets annoying after a while.

I like the ones most people don't know he wrote.

I've still got some of my essays from high school summer reading... I'd have to do a little searching, but I might be able to dig up some stuff on the normal junk like: 1984, Farenhiet 451, All Quiet on the Western Front... that type of stuff.

Let me know if you're interested

I read Farenheit 451, that was pretty good. I heard 1984 was all... different... and interesting.
