Anyone actually read? Do we have to take tests on that crap in first day of highschool? I haven't read anything... Is there any good excuses i could use, if we do have to take the test?
I kind of did. We had to write a 2 page essay one one book of our choice when we got back. I chose "Ten Little Indians" by Agatha Christie. Very good book if you like suspense/mystery. I made a 100 one the essay
freshman of course you do silly
I'm a freshman too. I actually like Edgar Allen Poe stuff. I read alot of his. And then a few other just weird stories that are absolutly horrible. I love em. Then there is alway one of the old sherlock homes storys. Man with the twisted lip is an alright one.

I have only seen short stories and poems by him. The House of Usher was my favorite. But summer reading is usually based on a novel.
Actually I change my mind! The Black Cat was an awesome story! That has to be my favorite by Edgar A. Poe.
The Raven is a good one for a poem.
Yes it is but that's too well known... Almost everyone knows that. Yes it's a great poem but it gets annoying after a while. I like the ones most people don't know he wrote.
I've still got some of my essays from high school summer reading... I'd have to do a little searching, but I might be able to dig up some stuff on the normal junk like: 1984, Farenhiet 451, All Quiet on the Western Front... that type of stuff. Let me know if you're interested - Tarp
