Slurpees right... biggie was no better than rapping than pac.. all biggie raps about is banging hoes, killing people, etc.. he has maybe some good meaningful songs like juicy

its a lot harder to make meaningful rap than pointless rap

anyways, i really dont think biggie and pac should be compared anyways... they were both amazing rappers.. without pac, biggie would be a nobody.. 2pac brought biggie into the game

It's just that tupacs music is something different, which is why more people listen to it. Also, a great rapper IMO is KRS One, I really love all his songs :P and that 70-80's beat is awesome. I love listening to KRS/NWA songs :D

    Right on man.

    Eazy does it! [/b][/quote]
naw!!! eazyE was only good when he was with NWA, when went solo he sucked

I gotta go with tupac on this one for his some of his raps were more about money bitches and hoes, he was deep a great MC, you guys should find some of his underground raps they are pretty dope and all of you should listen to "Me and my girlfriend" for it is a very good metaphor-galore song of which if you listen closely to tha lyrics youll find that he aint really talkin bout a real human girlfriend...he is talkin bout a gun. tha song is full of metaphors seriously check it out and impress yo teachers.

You like hip hop, and yet you think they suck. Pathetic., your probably one of these new age kids that are soo in love with rythm, and don't really bother caring for the lyrics.

    I repeat........"PATHETIC"

Both those guys are good but tupoc would have to be the bigger legend of the 2, he had a political movement behind him. “thug life”

But I have to say Eric Wright also know as Easy E was one of the greatest rappers of all time

Both of them are legends, it really helps them that died tragically. Other examples of this would be Kurt Cobain and Elvis. Biggie helped to bring back East coast rap since the West coast dominated the rap music scence till he came out. 2 Pac was more lyrically gifted than Biggie "Me and my Girlfriend" the best 2 PAC song IMO. But IMO 2 PAC is the bigger legend

Well his mom was a member of the Black Panthers

    Let's break this one down:

No, you are. I guarantee I know a lot more about rap and hip-hop than you do.

Because you know nothing about rap.

"Meaning" is subjective. Are we talking about cliche whining-ass songs about how it's the end of the world and all white people are evil and about how black people are so poor and in the ghetto? Pretty much every rapper has written songs like that. Pac is no more special...

Lots of fans means nothing. Most of his fans nowadays are only his fans because he died. 50 Cent has a ----load of fans...does that mean he's a good rapper or that his songs have any meaning? According to your logic, we should all eat sh*t because trillions upon trillions of flies can't be wrong...

    lmfao...where and how?

And he did it a lot better than Pac. Can you not read? I clearly remember saying that, as a RAPPER, Biggie is way better than Pac. Rapping skills have nothing to do with your lyrics or message or diversity. Rapping skills are all about mic presence, flow, delivery, and wordplay. In that respect, 2pac wasn't ---- compared to Biggie.

2pac was also the same ----, but people choose to ignore the hundreds of bull---- songs he's written and only focus on the "meaningful" ones.

lmfao. You don't know anything about rap, and you're still here trying to argue. Did you know that Biggie never wrote any of his songs? Everything he spit was off the top of his head. He didn't need a pen and paper for his ----...it was all in his head. That's skill.

Yet you call me a moron. That's very interesting logic you're working with right there...

Tupac was the real legend and biggie wasn't that great. i saw at the bottom you said "they both got shot" or somethiing, and real tupac fan would think he was still alive. hes not dead.

But my fav band is nwa, or cypress hill. i still like Eazy now eventhough hes dead. i like dre also.

No. A dumbass would think he's still alive--that, or a really gullible person. How "real" of a fan you are isn't determined by whether you think he's still alive or not. Chances are that you're just a bandwagoner and you don't actually know a whole lot about Pac's music, just like pretty much everyone else who's posted here.

If not, what happened to the wonderful 7-day theory that never came to pass? It's been more than 7 years since pac died, how come he isn't back?

I respect Eazy a lot because he's pretty much the person who revolutionized rap in the early 90's. Whether you think that's a good thing or not is up to you (a lot of people think that rap's turn to gangsta-type stuff was a really bad move), but he's still legendary in that respect. However, as a rapper, he wasn't all that great.

I bet i know a dam sight more than you do about pac. buy the resurections DVD theres weird evidence there. and also, when he was in jail, he was reading niccoli machiavellis (SP?)books, a guy who fakes his own death. after he got out of jail he called him self Makaveli. answer me why he did that

tha reason i choose Pac over biggie is because bigge rapped about money alot and i didnt really dig his voice and yea biggie did some serious hood tales, mostly in "ready to die" and "life after death" but 2pac did more. plus pac had a good selection of underground music than biggie, Pac was deeper than biggie, good or bad he'll write his ---- down while biggie hides behind tha curtains and tha ----.

    biggie: money, hoes, streets
    2pac: violence, streets, politics, hoes
