which program is best for making 3d logos...i know c4d is good, although complicated (for me at least )
try 3d studios max, but u can create some 3d models in photoshop (only sphere or cubes i think) but 3Ds is good, not as complicated as C4D
3ds may be a little extreme only for a logo, c3d is good for rotating stuff but a lot of stuff dosent look to good coming out of it imo, id stick with c4d for plain text, easiest to use but enough stuff to make it look good
bryce is pretty good, nice built in materials, only downside, is the most of the materials make it take forever to render :S but yea, bryce is also very simple, forgot bout it

C4D is complicated to use - Cool3D is like so easyto use well heres my first creations in Cool3D You guys are forgetting about Xara3D as well that makes top class 3D text/logos as well
wha? are u crazee c4d is way simpler than 3ds Max. 3dsm is used mainly for creating models for games and the amount of features in there are crazee. Its gr8 for modeliing tho c4d is your best bet because its simple to import paths (that u make in PS or illustrator) into c4d then make it 3d. then u aplly an extrude nurbs and hey presto a 3d logo. just modify the extrude and apply some kick ass materials and u shud be done.
