    can any1 explain to me what does it mean to add a new layer and add an overlay style normal 100%black???
    I dont get this-->>

    very easy:

    add new layer ; fill with black ; set the blending options to overlay :P

    dam I cant get that for some reason......I open the pic, I use the magic wand to cut the pic out, then i made new layer above it fill with black and set to overlay...I JUST DOESNT LOOK LIKE that for some reason.....argg...im dying

    hold ctrl, then clicck the layer where the logo thing is, so that it select it then make a new layer and fill the selected area with black

    if ur trying to cut out something to make transparent, copy ur pic, fill the first layer with black or any color, then return to 2nd one and cut the render out and then delete the 1st layer thats filled with any color

    Dont set it to overlay!!!!

    just leave it in the normal mode ;)

    At the end you should have two files...

    1. With the original image

    2. With the shape of the original image but then turned black..


    Simple as that ;)

    try saving it as .gif instead of jpeg that works fo me :)

    Possibly mean how to make a drop shadow support for when you make a logo into a Cool 3D animated image. Sometimes in ImageReady, you either have to make the animated image drop shadow'd before hand, else you'll have to add a shadow to each tween/frame/layer with each animation, which ends up into a large file. In Cool 3D, it somewhat does it for you. That's my guess about the Normal 100% Black quotation in the tut.
