Hey guys i made a nice render and left it on all niight and woke up this morning at it was only half done,!!! I will show you a screenie see in the bottom left corner it has been going for 8 HOURS!!@!@!@ can any one help me speed this up , i have a fast computer and all 160gig HD 2.6ghz and its taking foreverr SOME ONE HELP!!!
nope no programs ran for the whole night, i awas asleep msn was off no internet was open only c4d i have 512 mb of ram
ill render it for you and by the way, there is no way to speed things up, unless u get rid of the material, but the material doesnt seem that reflective or anything to take that long :S but sure, ill render it cant take too long with my computer (h) also, how much anti aliasing did u put, cuz that sometimes, make it take forever, i usually put 2x, 4x...if u put like 8x, 8x, ull be rendering forever :S
firstly 2.6 ghz isnt that fast second, is your prossesor a celeron? if it is, then your losing out on perfomance third, 512mb of ram isnt enuff for rendering seriously, 3d rendering is the most prossesor intensive task ever. i burnt out a 1.7 ghz celeron from rendering. I have a 3.2 ghz p4 (800mhz fsb) , 512+256+128 DDR 400 ram, and i can render pretty fast. but never fast enuff. i reckon i cud render that in under an hour.
lol that's sure annyoing! i say save it,get out of the program and come back...then open,should work...
