Dr. Dre doesn't even write his own rhymes. 2pac was a huge hypocrite, and an average rapper at that. However, despite the fact that I generally dislike 50 Cent, he's still better than Bow Wow.
No. Most of his fanbase exists nowadays because he's dead. If people payed attention to things in rap music such as flow, word play, etc., you'd notice that 2pac is an average rapper, not to mention hypocritical, and not to mention cliche. Well, you could argue that every rapper is like that to a certain point, but then it begs the question...why the hell should 2pac be considered this rap god of sorts, if he's just like every other rapper out there?
why? because his music meant something you notice that rappers nowadays just rap about killing people, getting rich, all the girls, cars, money, they have and all that ---- 2pac never rapped about that stuff.. he rapped about his life and ---- like that
Do you even own a single 2pac album? For every Dear Mama and Keep Ya Head up and Changes that he had, he probably had about 10 songs about killing, women, and money...don't kid yourself there man.
mr cheecky, you meant something there,, 2ac is a rap god, how could anyone disagree, he raps about his life, other people, the only song 2pac rapped about money was Hit Em Up, which was also a great rap song, period!
Let's see here: Ambitionz as a Ridah All Bout U Skandalouz Got My Mind Made Up How Do U Want It 2 of Amerikaz Most Wanted No More Pain Heartz of Men Tradin War Stories California Love (Remix) What'z Ya Phone # Can't C Me Holla At Me When We Ride Thug Passion Picture Me Rollin' Check Out Time Ratha Be Ya Nigga All Eyez on Me Run Tha Streetz Ain't Hard 2 Find None of those songs have any redeemable content in 'em, and that's only off one album of his (given it's a double album and stuff, but still, you get the point). Then you can move on to: Intro/Bomb First (My Second Reply) Toss it Up Life of an Outlaw Just Like Daddy Krazy Me and My Girlfriend (this song is about his gun, to those who are wondering) Against All Odds 2 albums, and plenty of songs that are about nothing more valuable than guns, girls, and money.
And if you wanna say that "he raps about his life," I'd like to point out that 2pac got into the rap game by being a backup dancer for Digital Underground (he'd dance onstage wearing thongs), and he had no criminal record UNTIL he started getting involved in rap.
comatosis ur wrong...i like tupac for the words that he speaks. He speaks about things that are important, and about things that have meaning and reflect upon human society...unlike 50 cent who raps about crap, and candy shops
Did you not read what I just posted? How can you say that I'm "wrong" when the evidence is right there? You probably started listening to pac after you found out he was dead, didn't you? Do you want me to show you the lyrics to those songs?
