my name is anthony bloor, i am the owner of the site www.platformzero.com and the person who painted that dragon! i have spent all day finding my artwork scattered round the net, and am beggining to get a bit annoyed, you should learn something about copyright law, you have to have permision from the artist to reproduce in physical or digital form.

not only is this a blatent rip off, but you didn't have the decency to host the image yourself, you hotlinked to my server and used my bandwidth, which is how i found this, (web logs are great arn't they) my site has been down for the last month due to blogs hotlinking to my animation work, so i am cracking down on this before it happens again.

i understand the rest of you probebly didn't realise, but i would really prefer it if i didn't find my work under other peoples names.

by the way as i'm here, the black patches you see are artifacts caused by the way it was painted, (back in photoshop 5.5) using an almost black background colour i built up the highlights using the colour dodge, this allows very rough sketching that makes alomst no effect on the image, this detail is only noticible after several strokes over each other. the downside is u get almost impercievable marks all over the image, until colour correction or other grading is applied then they stick out badly. (one more reason to go 16 bit)

dude u should have ptu ur name on it to... and have copyrigght ur name!!

 

it is a myth tthat this needed, copyright notices on an image are useless unless they cover a significant amount anyway. you dont opt in to copyright, you own it unless you sell it

 

still good to have ur name on it tho...
