Depends how good your system is if u have low RAM not so good processor it will lag completely and may result in crash but if its a decent computer then it wont lag. Well i got a 3yrs old PC and PS lags it so therefore saving up so that i can build a custom one :D

wow. like 50 font is large enough. why would you need like 200 fonts, or even 5000? it's a waste of time because you know you're not gonna use them all, and still carry the burden of browsing through each one. And the funny part to that is that there aren't so many great fonts out there, so choose the ones that you like(or need, like bitmap fonts) and install them :P . Too bad i can't say the same about brushes.

I only put in the fonts I know I am going to use. Same with the brushes. Just use them and if you dont like them put them in anohter folder in your documents or off to the side where to can still get to them when you want them.

herre is a rule of thumb... no more than 500 of both... just for browsing through it... takes a while with more

The result of a large amount of fonts is a slower boot up. and for the brushes you may just want to choose the ones you like the best
