And when you looked at the "sales chart", you seemed to have forgotten that the DS came out way earlier than the PSP and it was available during X-mas which means more sales. Of course DS has more sales because of that, but it doesn't mean it's kickin' ass. [/b][/quote] As you can see, its between a period of 6 days. And no its not in christmas. As you can see DS is kicking PSP's arse in sales. I dont think the release dates affected the sales. Back in 2000, Sony convinced everyone to wait for their PS2 console when people were wondering if they should get a DreamCast. Obviously Sega lost their sales. I think its the price of the PSP. As i mentioned above, sony could lower their price by removing the extra functions. But to others, they want those features, which confuses me. Have you ever thought that the MP3 and UMD player will end up like your DVD player in your PS2. Do people still use it btw? See, why watch a movie on a device which outputs poor quality and creates inconvineace, when you can watch it on another device with better quality and has no inconvineace? Coz its Sony? Of course not! Note. I got this graph from nintendoinsider.com so ill look for another source. EDIT: Forgot to say. DS also sold pretty well because of its games. A game called Nintendogs assisted the sales of the DS. Please dont bash the game coz its a cool game.
I would really like a PSP, but i can only afford one when it drops down in price in Japan - because its not even out in England yet
CONSOLES ARE BAAAAAAAAD why do you need hand held gaming system!?!?!?!? If you want to game you are at the pc. If you dont want to game you are not at the pc. If you are an abid gamer then you want to get away from the pc to do other things for awhile. Then your addiction kicks in again and you go back to the pc. You do not get tired of gaming on the pc and decide to play psp! dlgkajsd;lkgha;sdlkfhlsdfkhsdflij people!
There are so many things you can do with the PSP its not funny. Browse the web and GR, view Photos, Play Music, Watch Videos, Play UMD Stuff, run homebrew apps such as Emulators, so I don't know what your waiting for.
Im sure the 250,000 people who bought the game are saying "WOW". Heres an interesting article about the usage of the PSP. http://www.next-gen.biz/index.php?option=c...id=853&Itemid=2
