The Half Blood Prince was really good. But I'm getting tired of how everyone he gets close to dies. QTF is up with that?

I'm having a separate opinion from many people. I actually thought the book blew. The books were almost all better than this new one. The characterizations were extremely bad, and the ending was... to me, meh. I also thought there was a lack of details that was motivated by JKR trying to keep the book shorter than usual, but I'd love to see a longer, more complete version with better characterization, and details. But the book was different, and that was desirable, so Id say the book is O overall.

I dont agree. Why would you need to be a kid to read it? Iwas a kid when i read the first book. but since 1 book takes 2 years to come out...

Nope, haven't read it. And I don't intend to really. Reading some other book right now.
Although I'll admit Harry Potter books are good, I'd just rather read something different. ^^

Ii thought it was an awesome book. I especially liked the parts where you learned about Voldermort and his past.
