    By now it is known that everyone will be able to transfer their current Xbox Live account to their Xbox 360. What was not known however, was the pricing for the Gold version (Silver is free of course). That was until XboxLive France managed to get their hands on some US sourced scans of Xbox Live promotional packs for the Xbox 360.

    The packages start at US$7.99 for a basic 1 month subscription, and go all the way up to US$69.99 for a full 12 months. This last package, the "12 Month Premium Gold Pack", is also the best value, with a headset, $20 game discount voucher, free Xbox Live arcade game, and 200 XBL marketplace points all being thrown in as extras. Once you take away the price of the headset ($19.99) and the games voucher ($20), it is really only costing you US$30 for the entire year including the arcade game and marketplace points.

    The apparent new Xbox Live (Gold) pricing is as follows:

    the xbox live market is for purchasing downloadable content such as new multiplayer maps/ skins etc.

    and to get points so far the only way i know of so far is unlocking points as prizes not sure how though we will learn in time

    Kinda sucks that theyre wanting to charge $69.99 for the good package. But if you buy the Premium Xbox360, you'll already have a headset, therefor the $39.99 one is looking better, and better.

    I wonder if people on XBox 360 will be able to play against live people playing on xbox.

    Lets say im playing halo 2 online with xbox 360, could I play with somebody online playing on xbox?
