I think this should be illegal, smoking kills down the worlds population, ruins your heart and lungs, and makes you smell, wud u want a friend that stinks of ciggarete smoke? Also take into account second hand smoke, your kids/friends etc can breath in the smoke and it could kill them too. So what do you think. Legal or illegal?
well there is alot of reasons why it should be illegal...too many actually but u just summerised them for me
theres too many people already addicted to them to make them illegal but my opinion is that they should be made illegal
Its not as easy as it sounsd, They would not make it illegal out of no where due to taxes, and the money Ciggs are making. It does mess your body up like you said, but the fact of it being illegal is just out of the question. 2nd hand smoke and pollution is a good reason to make it illegal, but can you immagine how many people will get pissed over this? Can you immagine the trafficing of Ciggarettes that will happen? Lol.
yeah it's hard because like nica said. countries from all over the world are making profit from ciggarete. well, but in my opinion (no offense anyone) it should be illegal ! me myself, is a second hand smoker. because my cousin smokes in the house. and ive got lung problems ! (lol idk how to say it, but when i was examined my lung is like, dirty, blurry and stuff like that)
It's kinda simple really isn't it! It kills, it should be made illegal, but then that could effect drinking alchol and that would kill everyone! Though i think that smoking should be made illegal, specially as know allot of people who do and i don't want them t get cancer, and i don't want them to make me pacivly smoke! Unfourtunatly my Step - Dad smokes, but lukily he has decided that he should smoke outside! Smokins SUCKS! Kill it quick before it kill's you!
You wanna make something illegal... go for alcohol. Oh wait, they tried that already. Ever hear of the prohibition period? :lol: As for 2nd hand smoke, their is NO scientific evidence proving it is any worse then the carbon dioxide, monoxide, and tons of other deadly chemicals you breathe being in or around a car... especially big cities like New York, Orlando. etc. Same goes for first hand evidence... NOT proven. They can assume smoking does these things... but you know what they say about assuming things. Either way... the tobacco companies make wayyyy too much money to shut down.
Even though I will never smoke my dad smokes so most of the smoke gets into the room - But i leave it because I just hate it - i have never touched a cigerette before nor will I in the near future. - i find smoking bad even though most of the people cant quit it - They taking cigerettes and are killing themselves - I know the companies behind this make tons of money but they wont shutdown becaase of it. I just hate it. Fullstop.
Legal > cuz both my parents smoke , !! cigarteers make alot of econamy of the uk > banning = less econemy = money loss = less counsil founding , = less local upgrades , = less parks , etc . altho it sounds good banning it , it will effect the Uk econaomy , ( damn i spell that mf'ing word.)
Smoking is bad for your health but shouldn't be illegal. People should be allowed to choose whether they want to smoke or not. Strict smoking rules should be enforced, yes, but not a total ban. Same goes for alcohol and same should be for marijuana. Legalized but highly taxed.
could u imagin how many pissed off peeps there would be if u banned smoking id be one of them i smoke but wish i didnt i will give up one day :/ lol you know the risks when u smoke but as for cancer yea u increase the risks of cancer when u smoke for sure but you could go your whole life with out a smoking and still get cancer my mom got cancer and she dosent smoke (shes all clear now jus to clear that up ) i dont think it should be illegal but i see where ur coming from i think the age limit to smoking should be increased to 18 or 21.. plus people should be more considerate of others around them who dont smoke im all for banning smoking in public even though im a smoker myself .... i dont think its fair to smoke around people who dont smoke
i dont think cigarettes should be illegal... after all, all they do is give you a headrush for 5 minutes and then kill you 20 years later..i think anyone that smokes cigarettes just wants to look cool stick to smoking weed, marijuana, grown from the ground and its all natural whereas cigarettes have a ton of crap that you shouldnt be going near.. people who dont like the intoxication from weed smoke cigarettes, why? they dont care about getting high... they just wanna look cool - alcohol/weed is great - cigarettes are crap and i'll never smoke them in my life LEGALIZE MARY J!
what i find funny is that if they make it illegal they might as well make alcohol illegal.. i mean 1 night of drinking alcohol could kill you/and or kill someone else.. smoking takes several years to have the effects of cancer and all that.
