Hosting Site Help

    Well i bought a site, and dont know what i press to install a forum and template. i would appreciate all your help.

    ps:i got cpanel.

    What kind of forum? If you have fantastico (its in cpanel) just go to fantastico and click phpbb (SMF is probably also an option but I would suggest phpbb)... as long as you have an sql database you should be fine...

    What kind of forum and template? By a template do you mean one for a main site or for the forum? If you need help P/M me.

    it coems with phpchat , bulletin board , chatroom which of these would it be??? i really need help.

    please explain, look inside ure cpanel. if theres a blue smile that says Fantastico, then you have it.

    click it. you should see a bunch of "grey" categories with options under it. look for "Discussion Boards" and choose what you want to install.

    i would explain how to manually install a phpbb board or a Simple Machines one but im guesing you dont know much on how to customize it.

    yeah he said hell help me,but the info b0b sent me deosnt work...so both of us cant fix it....we have to wait till b0b goes on which is when im asleep lol

    wait, bulletin board in my cpanel is ipb 1.3 ... if its ipb then get that, if not then use phpbb.

    Fantastico no longer comes with IPB, it only includes phpBB and SMF.
