How do I put japanese characters onto my avatar? I tried copy and pasting it but all I get is ?? or some other weird asian character. How do I make fonts goes vertical? I tried some of the one and it has huge gap between them. I don't wanna do text for text btw. because it'll take too many layers I'm using CS2 btw
For Asian writings you need a special progam to see the characters. This program doesn't comes standard for computers in the Western countries I believe.

To put a picture into an avatar, you need first to open the picture, then use the move tool to drag the picture to the avatar by holding the left click of the mouse. About the vertical text, if you will look in the text upper toolbar, you will see a few buttons, go over each and one of them, and you will see that one of them is the vertical, just mark your text and click on the button.
