Anybody know any password protecting programs that are free that help you set up passwords on files on your computer? Thanx. P.S. I tried using the ones under Win XP but when it shows "make this folder private" it doesnt let me check the box...i want it to be able to have a password too so i or anyone that knows it can open it
The best way I know is to get winrar, and use it's password feature for stuff you wanna protect. Only deal with that is... you need to extract it every time you wanna use the files. Then you gotta delete the extracted files, and save only the passworded file. google "winrar"
i know what u mean...i have winrar but im not lookin to extract stuff everytime...but thanks though..anyone else any info?
