First get a really good grunge brush, I chose Rust N Grunge by Deviantart.com.

    1. Press CTRL + 1 (Or goto File>>NEW .... Its up to you)

Make the Pixels around 350 by 150 or something, prefferably that size.

    2. Render >>> Clouds

    3. CTRL + SHIFT + N

Now Select a brush thats right to you, and have a white or black brush, its up to you. Once you put a sploch or two, goto step 4 :D.

    4. Repeat step 3, but this time with a different brush and have the opposite color as you just did.

Make about 6 layers with Black and white brushes.

    After that..

    5. Get a render, I chose this nice Robot one.

    6. Click and drag onto your image, and then Resize to the right size using CTRL + T.

Now you have your render on there, It looks cool. But it needs color!

    7. Under your Render Layer, goto LAYER>>NEW ADJUSTMENT LAYER>>COLOR BALANCE And choose your color, I chose blue.

    8. Now create another layer under your render layer.

Take a big fuzzy brush and add a "mysterious" glow around your render.

    9. Make a layer above your Render layer and have this dark fog rise!

(I took a Rust N Grunge brush too make my dark fog rise.)

Now If you wanna add soem Text you can! .. Here is what mine came out like :P

If you want to make ur tutorial better, add pictures, it helps people follow. Also, no offense intended, that sig isn't really that good. I recommend you improve before make you make a sig tut. btw, the rust n' grunge brush is found on deviantart.com, but not made by it. It's made by members on DA.

Tutorials look much better if there is pictures added while they are doing the tutorial.

Better explained, more people will do it.

Good tutorial to be your first ^_^
