Lindows Linux ^ do they look the same? Lindows is a company controling and selling the linux code. They want proft so they sell it. Now I use Fedora Core the beta. Very snazzy. And whoever started this topic, im curious who told you this? We will probably see a purple fuzzy midget with pokedoted spots before anything buys microsoft.
linux is far better than windows (i've had redhat, gentoo, debian, and slackware over time) but as others have stated, i dont see this going either way.
"Linux is for nerds.." - My Dad on Net Talk, 2002. Hehe. Linux is teh ghey. And my dad thinks the same, he said it on television
Awful romour, with no evidence. Creates barely any useful descussion... I should -Rep you for this useless post...
k, kids i was talking about windows server so calm down, and i think this is it http://www.pcworld.com/news/article/0,aid,...,tfg,tfg,00.asp
1st off don't say kids. That just pisses me off. WTF are you thinking? should -rep you for that and this whole thread... And here is some basic googling for you. Integration is two things coming together to accomplish something. The article says Microsoft and Vintela. Vintela Linux ^am I blind or are those not the same?!?
How do you get Linux buying Microsoft out of that? Vintela just ports Window's options to Linux and UNIX... There's nothing in there about anyone buying anyone. Microsoft has just provided funding and help for Vintela, if anything it's like a merger, but with each company keeping its own name
