Check your router settings. Some automatically kill your connection after a certain amount of time because of a limiting setting. I know mine was like that.

    Try portforward.com

They have in-depth tutorials on port forwarding. They don't tell you how to change other settings though.

Okay, then its a router setting. What kind of router do you have? That might help with the problem.

just find the button on the back and hold it in. That should reset it to factory defaults. Download the manual and adjust the settings one by one to see what the issue is. If it does it even after reseting to defaults, buy a new one and dont get a dlink, buy a linksys.

wow i have the exact problem but with my 624

wat i noticed is that it only happens at night or when my brother's computer is on. it kinda made me think that it kept happening cuz of some spyware/worm/virus stuff goin on on my bro's comp, but its just a guess.

so i guess u could check for that?

I had this problem with my Linksys Modem it would just shut down for awhile and sometimes resetting would help. I called my ISP (Comcast) and they came out and checked the problem. I was getting a weak signal from the street so they replaced some of the wires and stuff and ran a dedicated cable line to my router and that fixed the problem.
