    I agree, there are WAY too many threads about "unfair -rep". If you get one, personal message one of the two admins. Don't make a useless thread that could start a flame war.

    1. You need a better reason that that. And you could post a better suggestion... How about;

    I think when people - Rep someone, a mod should approve of it for it to be added to the rep list......

    Rep isn't useless... especially for the people that conduct business here at GR. Many of buy or sell templates, hosting, domains... etc. Think about this... and honestly... would you rather conduct business with someone who has negatives marks for say ripping, or scamming... or someone who is known to be trustworthy and helpful? If you have to think more than two seconds about that... I'm sorry, but I pity you.

    Go tell the people at ebay their buyer/seller rating system is useless, and see what they say. Same conecpt applies here, only on a somewhat smaller scale.

    Just get rid of the damn -rep. I made a thread, it was stupid but it was mostly for others to bitch out the guy that -repped me. Meh.

    Amen to that! When I 1st saw I had a Rep I was quite Happy... When someone took it away I was slighty gutted! I recently conducted buissness(w/e :P) someone who has -14 for scamming! I made sure I put anti-rip on Everything till he paid up!

    Ever been on eBay, Exodus? Seen the "approval ratings" of the seller whose stuff you're trying to buy?

    Think of it like that. It's not 100% necessary, but it helps.

    The part I do agree with you about is those noobs that give out -reps at will. But rather than complain here, report it to a moderator or administrator, and we'll sort it out. :)

    But here, we're not spending REAL money are we?

    I know rep tells you things, but if people keep crying over it and abusing it on a forum when it isn't really nessacery, why is it here? I can understand why ebay have one, and why xbox live 360 will, but a rep system isn't really needed here, but on ebay it is.

    Some of us do. BFTP bought 2 accounts of members, one worth around $180 and another worth $50...

    Repping is jst another way to highlight whos established on the forum and how much they've given to the community.

    idk alotta decent members have 0 rep
    just because they don't make renderpacks
    which is the main reason that people get them

    i guess its not a big deal with me so i won't waste time on it...
