i dont know if this is against rules for religion, but anyway, all these movies about people being possessed are coming out such as"exorcist, exorcism of emily rose, and amtyville horror". have you ever thought about it? im christian, but personally dont believe in the devil. I think lifes a good thing, not about being possessed and the devil. I also think possession is a state of mind, you think your getting possessed, then you get possessed. what are your thoughts on the topic
Well i dont really have any thoughts on exorcism. I havent ever really thought about it. But i do believe in the devil and hell. Im christian as well. Anyway, i dont think this topic is allowed here

I meant i dont think its allowed here at GR at all. Religious topics start a ton of spam. And also hurt peoples feelings. I just dont think its allowed. I dont mind it though. But we will just have to wait for a Mod to see if its allowed or not.
My opinnion(I am christian as well): Demonic possession was something that happened back a long time ago, yet still occrus to day, but in a more modern state. I believe there is a force of evil, or satan. However, this evil doesn't make you do things like in "The Exorcist", but possess people into doing things such as drugs, crime, etc.

I think, personally, that that is absurd. Posession is a ridiculous concept. Peoples' personalities are influenced by their life experiences, the enviroment they grew up, and the sort. Why do people rob banks? Cause thats where the money is. Why do people do drugs? To escape for a short while from the harsh reality they live in
wow another good opinion, in the end i dont believe in it. it seems like people looking for attention, or more of a state of mind. your sititng there thinking "im possessed' well guess what, u think ur possed you are. and its not like in the movies. you dont get scars and ----. Its just the way you act. I think its bull----

I dont exactly beleive in the devil, But in evil spirits. If your going to be possesed, I think you really need to want to be exorcised before it can happen. But again, I beleive in Exorcisms and such, And Exorcist: The Beginning is one of my favorite movies. Yet its very corny.
This is probably gonna bring up alot of flaming considering its religious...but ive never really thought about it...
its not so much religious, more about what you think about possesion, which can be non religous in a way
If people don't like it, then they should be mature and not reply to it at all. Oh and btw. I think the devil is real but i dont think he's actually on earth. god wouldn't let that happen.
