can you go to avast.com and download avast? i would suggest getting that, installing it if you can, and run the at boot scan that it asks you before you finish the installation and restarts your computer.

i went into safe mode and deleted some programs i beleived to be bad or programs i didnt need anymore and still i have the problem. thnx for everyone's help but i beleive i am going to simply have it checked out by my dad's friend and hopefully he can remove the virus or "bad" processes. thnx so much for tthe support. dark star especially. hopefully it will get removed
Try everything you can till you give up then put your files on a hardrive, plug it out and them format.
