Photoshop Cs2 Layer Problem

    whenever i select a layer that isn't on top in order to move it, all of the layers above it get selected when i move it.

    All of the layers above it get selected, and thus don't allow me to move the single layer.

    try right clicking on the canvas, it should show you the layer you want. And if that doesnt work, reinstall ps.

    right when i click on the canvas it automatically just hightlights one above it, right clicking on the canvas didn't work.

    You could try moving the layer above the rest, placing it where you want then moving it back below..but that may get a little time consuming. I'd suggest re-installing as well.

    Or maybe you just have to restart your computer..mine locks everything sometimes and I have to do that.

    i think the only solution to this is to reinstall. i've restarted my computer many times and still doesn't work =[. well thanks anyways guys

    i reinstalled and it worked!
