I have this big problem with this damn computer. Ok the D: drive won't work because it says that it is missing/corrupted (Code 39). How can i fix this because when i put cds into the computer it won't load at all. I tried unstalling and reinstalling it, and it still won't work. How can i fix this problem??
do you have your cd-rom (watever you have) set to auto run? can it read the cd, but just doesnt start up when you put a cd in? with the D: drive, if it is corrupt, it's usually corrupt... are you re-formatting it in windows?? try doing a quick format. I think what you are doing is formatting it, and before its done, you turn off the compy. you might have to do a low level format if you cant get it going, more info as of what you did is appreciated..
np I think you just restarted/shut down the computer before it was done formatting, it takes about 5-10 minutes to get done.
