Direct X

    I just downloaded directx 9.0 and was wondering does it matter where i extract the files? I just extracted them into my documents. Is that alrite?

    Ye it dont matta where you extract them - When you run them it will install the files where it suppose to be :D

    I installed it to help with a game cuz my comp doesnt have good enough graphics. But directx dint help at all..... any other way i can make my graphics better. It's a laptop so i dont tihnk i can buy a new graphics card

    well, unless you get the top of the line laptops, you wont be able to play many high definition games. I don't know, maybe just get a PC :P

    I feel laptops arent very good at games thats why Im going to make a PC rather tha getting a laptop for Uni. DirectX for some games is a requirement to make games work. But doesnt really improve the overall graphics quality. If you want to do that you need a decent graphics card.
