It is true that its a ultimate gaming PC but the price tag is tremendous and very high. But the parts are very expensive so i see where the price tag comes from :D I would rather make my own ultimate gaming PC :D

You feel more proud that you made your own ;)

6 grand for that? it has no monitors, only 1gb ram, crappy video cards, and it's not even dual core.

You could make a WAY better PC for only 2grand if you did it yourself.

You don't pay for the name, alienware uses the best parts available so the pricetag is higher. you pay for quality when you buy from alienware. but you could probably build the same machince for a cheaper price but not with the same quilty you get with alienware but if you have the money you really should get that computer.

what quality? i'm not saying that alienware machines aren't good quality because i know firsthand that they are but

anything that they give you, you could buy better for cheaper if you bought components individually.

don't try and tell me that alienware makes superior cases, cooling, and/or programs, or that they cverclock any differently than i would.

no offense to anyone, but alienware's target demographic is spoiled teenagers who can't put a better system together by their self.

Alienware machines usually are very good. The only downfall is the price but if people are actualy buying thier machines at that price we cant complain. Theres always people like that in the world too much money/too little knowledge of what they are doing.

build a better pc for $2500

    with a fx57 or x2 4800.
    2gb ram - OCZ <Good for overclocking
BFG 7800 <best card on market.

You could get so much more for a lot less. you could even get the alienware case of ebay probly.

it's not crappy, but it's certainly not top shelf

    1. geforce 7800gtx
    2. geforce 7800gtx lite
    3. geforce 7800gt
    4. radeon x850xtpe
    5. radeon x850xt
    6. geforce 6800ultra
    7. geforce 6800gt

that list may be very slightly out of order but anywhere you slice it, on a high end system you should have a better graphics card(s)
