i cant believe what im reading...first of all for all those who believe humans use the dirst 3% of your frontal lobe dont even know what the frontal lobe does, its often associated wth the control of aggressive behaviour, meaning if you damage your frontal lobe you become aggressive, there are examples of this, we use ALL our brains cause every part is specialised in something, the idea that we only use a part of our brain is an old belief that has been disproved by medicine. and ALIENS crashing during the jurassic era? i dont claim that we live all alone in the universe, u never know. but doesnt that sound like something out of a sci-fi film? Darwins theory claims bacteria evolved into fish which evolved into reptiles which evolved into mammals into apes and finally us, that is evoluion not some conspiracy theory about aliens or supersmart humans mistaken for gods.....this discussion isnt even close to serious or intelligent, its like a page out of stargate
If you knew what you were talking about, you'll know, (I already said this) that there is a missing link, between man and ape, that scientists have never been able to understand...try understanding that before saying everyone here is an idiot. That missing link is a major debate in evolution theory. You honestly think we just 'happened' by chance? Personally, I am not religious, but there just is something that is not right with this.
im not an extremely relegious person but i dislike darwins theory, personally id like to think my greatest ancestor was more than a bacteria, its just that some people were talking about things completely irrelevant and farfetched, as for the missing link, it isnt major debate its a major flaw and while darwins theory does make some sense it fails terribly when it comes to explaining humanity, i believe god made he heaven and earth in 6 days and that we all came from adam and eve, there is no scientific proof but this is why its called faith
You all know that most of those evolutionary figures of the ape then to man chart have been disproven. I think it is that they were almost all apes but 3 or 4 on the chart. But they are still taught today even though it is not true! That is what I think is so sad if they would just update your textbooks everyonce in awhile we wouldn't even have this topic. And science takes alot of faith to beleive in too. Thats right. But we need to have a day to rest. Nobody has made any comments about my post....
I am an atheist. Science is not afraid to explore out of a straight line, and is allowed to be rebelious, whereas religion makes the rules for you, and I will not have anyone or anything tell me how to live my life. Without scince we would all be dumb, and science is a magnificent element of life. The thing is dislike about fully religious people is when they say atheists are horrible, unloving people and don't let you have an opinion on the subject. Now, I respect everyone and very religion, and I am a generally nice, caring person. IMO people choose religion as a comfort matter to reassure them that there is after-life and a god who will help you. Fair enough if you want to believe this. But if you don't attempt to travel past the straight line and question your beliefs, your life will be the same with the same guidelines. I think that religion has dominated this world and is a cause of a lot of the terrorism and wars today. I also think religion had removed that spark of curiousity from people. Darwins theory is such a perfect example of evolution and what a lot of atheists agree with. Concluding, I don't believe in God. I don't believe in Santa Claus. I don't belive in fairies.
