    Not having used Windows in years (finding Mac to be a much less frustrating alternative), I've got a couple questions about my new PC:

    1. After a certain amount of time, I'm automatically logged off. This is a newb question, but how can I prevent this? I don't want an automatic logout.

    2. Can someone recommend good DVD Burning software?

    3. Can someone recommend a good P2P program. I don't want any spyware. x_x;

    Thanks to everybody who can help.

    LimeWire Pro > *

    @#2: The only ones I can think of you would have to buy on the blackmarket because they're illegal now, I'll ask my dad what he uses though, it's now illegal, but he bought it when it was legal, so technically it's legal....but meh, I'll find out the name of it :)

    The log out is the screensaver. Right click the desktop, choose properties. Go to the screensaver tab and make sure password protect on resume isnt checked.

    2. Nero or google :D

    3. Limewire or BitTorrent. I actually found that WinMX is good for music. I was suprised too. I tried it a few years ago, and it didnt work well..

    1. Give me some time and ill get you a good answer. Does it make you type in your password everytime? If so it is the screensaver. Rightclick desktop>properties>screensaver tab> password section>turn off password.

    2. Nero is a great one and is highley recommened.

    3. Bearshare, limewire is a slow program and takes long time to dl anything. Bearshare music takes about 30-50secs, movies maybe 3-4 hours.

    It all depends on how many peers are sharing the same file. Yea, it does take a while if you are downloading a prog from a 56k modem user...

    Nah, i used it and downloaded 20 songs, all of them took at least 2mins a peice.

    Downloaded the same songs with bearshare, 30-50secs for them all to finish, not each.
